A partnership agreement for Okun Koneistuspalvelut and Riveria

Okun Koneistuspalvelu has been involved for years in cooperation with vocational education. In the beginning of 2019, Oku concluded a partnership agreement with Riveria. The aim of the partnership is to continue and develop cooperation by increasing interaction.

According to the Managing Director of Okun Koneistuspalvelu, Päivi Kettunen, Oku is very pro-education and open to new types of educational ideas.

– The agreement is important for us and continues our long-term cooperation. It is great that we have local education, since we need motivated students.

The modes of cooperation have included involving students in workplace learning and organising student visits at Okun Koneistuspalvelu.  They are also planning to launch patron activity.

Over the years, Okun Koneistuspalvelu has served as the place of on-the-job learning for many vocational students. Kettunen deems it important to have direct and mutual interaction with the educational institutions. Päivi Kettunen also serves as a work life representative in the working life forum of Technology at Riveria
